1 lb. ground beef
1/3 c chopped onion
1/2 t salt
16 oz petite dices tomatoes
1/2 c water
1/2 c uncooked rice
1 t Worcestershire sauce
4 oz Sharp cheddar, shredded
- Cut tops off peppers removing seeds & membranes
- Brown beef with the onion & salt
- add tomatoes, water, rice, & Worcestershire sauce to the beef mix
- Simmer until rice is tender (15 min)
- Stir in the cheese the stuff each pepper with the mixture
- Stand peppers in baking dish
- Bake uncovered at 350 degrees 20-25 min
