1 sheet Puff Pastry
4 medium apples, cored & peeled
1/2 c raisins, dried plums, or other dried chewy fruit snipped into raisin-sized pieces
1/8 c Brown Sugar
1/2 t Cinnamon
1/4 t Nutmeg
- Pre-Heat oven to 400 degrees.
- Mix raisins, brown sugar, cinnamon, & nutmeg together in a small bowl.
- Unroll the puff pastry & slice into four pieces.
- Place an apple in the center of each piece.
- Spoon 1/4 of of the raisin mixture into the center of each apple.
- Moisten the edges of the pastry with water & fold the edges over the apples.
- Place dumplings in a baking dish & bake for about 40 to 45 minutes.
- Serve hot with ice cream.
